One extended cruise circling Australia has been cancelled following the tragic passing of an older lady who was stranded by the vessel on a isolated coastal location.

The passenger had been trekking on the tropical location with fellow passengers from the Coral Adventurer, but parted ways from the excursion for a rest. The liner sailed away leaving her and went back several hours later after the ship staff realised the lady was missing.

A large-scale hunt located her person the subsequent day.

Officials are investigating the tragedy, alongside investigators and the medical examiner.

The CEO of the voyage organizer said that guests and personnel on the Coral Adventurer were told that the rest of the voyage had been called off due to the "unfortunate death and previous mechanical issues".
